I'm very happy and proud to say that this project in which we, some Spanish fans, have been collaborating in the shade for almost one year, is now coming to see the light..
Summing up a bit, I'll explain that it all started when Alex Schweigert sent a DVD to David Llorente (Toroacu) with promotional material from Universal music, which was never for sale with the album. The DVD contained an interview by Mike at his place talking about his thoughts and feelings about music and life around the album he had just released then: Light and Shade. This interview was, of course, in English and in a simple edition, with no menus or extras.
When David received it, he first thought of organizing a DVD tree in order to distribute it for free among all the people interested, but then there was an explosion of ideas and some people offered ourselves to make it accesible to Spanish people. After doing some inquiries to see whether we were allowed to do so, we (always as volunteers and with any other aim but making it understandable to Spanish people) started working on the transcription and translation of the interview which would be later inserted in subtitles.
The result has been that the amazing production work has made of this interview something really good, with subtitles in Spanish, menus and some extras, as well as presented with a wonderful booklet. That's why I'm now here to offer u the chance to download it from this link: Interview, cover and booklet
I'd like now to mention the people who has collaborated in the project:
Organization and Distribution: David Llorente Production: Enrique Hernández (KIK3) & Ángel L. Valero Graphic Design: Ángel L. Valero Translations: Nacho Marín & Daniel Ramírez & María Mérida
Also... there's now some talk here around about the possibility of making of this Spanish project something... international.. It would be great to have this DVD available with subtitles in English, German, Italian, Portuguese... The base work is done, so it would be easy now to add the subtitles in other languages. We have already the transcription of the interview in English, but we would need people to translate it into the other languages.
Is there anyone out there interested in collaborating? If so, u can leave a message here or contact us through David's blog, where there's complete info about this project
I do hope u enjoy it
-------------- ...morning and evening i'm flying, i'm dreaming...
