I check www.eddiejobson.com every once in a while to see if he finally has his site up. Today, I go there and see something very new. That's a nice studio pic! The link to the unviewable external web site is gone, which is an improvement as well.

Wow - thanks.  I love Eddie Jobson, at least the little I've heard of him.  I have his The Green Album.  There are two songs in particular that I listen to most - Easy For You To Say and Listen To Reason.  At the time it was released, wasn't there something about him doing a series of albums, each with a different color theme?  I never really heard any more about that.

I've not heard the Green Album yet. Have you heard "Theme of Secrets"? One of the very best I've ever heard from anyone: better, even, than many Oldfield albums.

Looks like it is back in print finally!

You can check out this video clip too. It had a minute of the music, and a version of the cover art:

If you like the wintery mood of the beginning section of "Incantations" Side 4, you should like this.

Oh my gosh - The Green Album is awesome.  I've heard Theme of Secrets just once - it didn't hook me.  Coming after The Green Album, it would have been almost impossible to please me, I guess.  I used to own it on vinyl but it's been so long since I heard it, I have no idea what it's like - except for the little bit of the video you shared with me (thanks).  Seems a little dark, but worth exploring again.  And oh, by the way, The Green Album was pressed on green vinyl, natch.

Jethro Tull's A album. Good stuff with Eddie. Check him out on Tull's Slipstream dvd! Quite a chuckle with all that make-up!

Eddie Jobson update: the web site now has a forum that is just a few days old. You can discuss Eddie Jobson and also the group UK there.
