I would say the connection between Mike and the Edgar Broughton Band is both the EBB and Kevin Ayers and the Whole World were both on the Harvest record label, they both had recorded at Abbey Road, quite possibly at the same time. Both bands were on the bill for the free concert by Blind Faith in Hyde Park .
