Ok, i bought a guitar and just started to learn how to play just because i want to able to play mike oldfields solos. i worked a lot just to afford the guitar, so now is some money left and i think about buying a (multi) effect processor. i heard about the zoom 505 and a roland GP-8 on this site... is there any you can recommend me to play MO ´like sounds´? The Roland VG-8 or VG-88 would be great, but you'd have to have a lot of money for either of them. Try out any FX unit before you buy it (I know this is a bit obvious but...), and try it with your own guitar - a PRS will sound good through anything. Remember that you can do more with most FX units than the presets may have you believe. Happy shopping! Back to top
