Yes! Yes!  They were awesome.  I had the privilege of seeing them in concert.  What an incredible experience.  It wasn't just the music - it was the theatrics as well.  Keith Emerson was my favorite of the three.  Have you seen his "flying piano"?  Look here:

Also, at one point in the show, he would turn around and play the keyboard from the back, reaching over it from behind.  And then he would throw the thing around and eventually by laying on the floor with the keyboard on top of him - playing the whole time.  I'm sure if you search you can find a video of this as well.

One of their later albums "Works, Volume 1" has his Piano Concerto #1.  A two record set, each one had one full side to themselves with the 4th being the three of them together.

Yes I love Works, but I haven't heard it for a while as I've only got it on LP, most my ELP is on LP :O , and don't have a turntable atm. I love Pirates and the full length Fanfare For The Common Man  . For other studio albums I'd reccomend Tarkus , I love the title track and its parts Eruption, Stones of Years, Iconoclast, Mass, Manticore, The Battlefield and Aquatarkus, Also check out Brain Salad Surgery :D.  My boyfriend is also an ELP fan   .

All I can say is "Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends , come inide , come inside". :)

Tarkus is great. I also had Trilogy on LP but somehow lost both of them. :/ ELP is one of my favourite bands.

This is a video of them doing Knife's Edge.  You'll have to wait to the very end to see Keith do his thing.
