I think it lost a bit of impact due to some of the instrument choices later on but overall I really liked it. The second version with no beat has a really good atmosphere but needs to develop more to keep my attention - although it would be really good relaxation music I think. As for music without a beat - I do it all the time... that's probably why I'm not a successful musician making money!
