Hey! I've found a way of breaking past where the barriers are to explore up to the volcano and over the seas and beyond....but I think it may be a glitch in the game!

From the following picture links you can see the front and back picture views of the volcano close to it...

Also you can fly high and see all of the MVR world..see pic...

But, it is like an empty shell with no 'things' and no music. Has anybody else found this? You can get to it after you get to turtle island. You must first GET THE RING then fly to the outside of the island perimeter and you'll be able to fly past where the barriers are supposed to be - TO BE FREE!!!!!!

You can go to where the Daliphant can normally be seen but it is not there in this scenario! It's quite wierd!

The way I got here was..
(1) Get shell ring.
(2) Get ring by rocks guarded by crab.
(3) Go to small white 'bush' where magic white streams ascend to heaven and get third ring.
(4) Go to sprite and then to dancing baby in stonehenge and you'll be taken to the island.
(5) Then do what I said: get ring and fly FREE!

Yeah, this happened to me, too. The first thing I tried to do was go to the Daliphant, but all I saw was a flat wall--like a cardboard cutout was standing in for the scenery.

It's a bug, and it happened to me in a different way than what you described.

If there is a way to a Daliphant scene, this ain't it wink
