MO have made some cover versions of other composers music..to mention a few... etude, arrival, sailors hornpipe, I got rhythm, wonderful land and so on.
I found almost all of them very good, but I do have 2 favourites....
Which is yours?

Mine is
Women of Ireland and
Flowers of the forest (mix of 2 old trad. songs)

I would love to hear Flowers of the forest, live, with huge bagpipe orchestra and a choir but it ain´t ever gonna happen

Mine would most likely be "Song of the Sun" and then the "Sailor's Hornpipe".

Well, apart from the traditional/folk stuff [SOTS, half of Voyager and SH are traditional pieces], he didn't record many pieces he didn't write, did he?

Anyway, my favs are "Etude", a.k.a. Francisco Tárrega's "Recuerdos de la Alhambra"

and his rendition of Vivaldi's concerto RV 558 "con molti istromenti" [i.e. 'with many instruments'

] as "Vivaldi Concerto in C".

The Song of the Sun. At the time Voyager was released there was a running joke in my family that "The Song of the Sun" was the best track on the album, "and he didn't even write it!". :laugh:

1) In Dulci Jubilo amazing guitar solo
