The Montréal Progressive Music Festival will be held on September 15-16, 2007 at Salle Pierre Mercure of the Centre-Pierre-Péladeau. This year's line-up includes the Strawbs, IQ (my favorite band atm! ), Samla Mammas Manna, Nathan Mahl, Hamadryad, Ville Emard Blues Bad, and Miriodor. For additional details and ticket information, see http://www.fmpm.net/.

IQ  , I'd love to go, but I know I'm not going to get it all together in time to get to Montreal.

I've been getting into the CD of "Dark Matter" recently, however  I did loan it to a good  friend as I thought he'd like it, (I only loan to people I can trust to look after things), so I am sort of missing it atm    :/ . When I get some money I'll have to buy the IQ back catalogue.

Love Dark Matter--especially "Harvest of Souls" and "You Never Will." With their backlog, I'd go for The Wake, Subterranea, and Seventh House. Hmm...but then there is the Archive Collection containing "Last Human Gateway"  (could just toss the names into a hat and draw one <-; ). Some of the stuff is only available from their online shop (Giant Electric Pea).

Anyhow.....I am going to try to get to the festival--looks like a great lineup.  I'll be in the east about that time, so it might actually be feasible. :)  Does anyone else attend this?
