There's a silly thing happening to my PC lately, mainly because of things included in some of those mp3 search engines, or lyrics-search web pages... here's how it goes.
When I turn on my PC and open Internet Explorer, the Search bar (i.e. the thing that appears when you press the Search button above) pops up without me wanting it, and it shows a stupid search page from I-Search. The silliest thing about it, however, is that if I close IE and re-open it, the Search bar doesn't pop up - it only does when I first start IE after booting the PC. And this is not particularly harmful to the computer or anything at all, it's just a nuisance.  I've tried every possible way [I think...  ] to get rid of this, including fiddling with the Windows registry, but everything is useless. So, is there anybody out there, as Roger Waters sang, who's technically knowledgeable enough to help me find a way to solve this ...ahem... little problem? 
P.S.: Since this was already extensively discussed two or three nights ago in the IRC #mike_oldfield chatroom, the people who were there may not bother to reply. That said, I have a vague feeling that I'll get very few actual replies to this topic... oh well.
