Hi,

A new track, from my forthcoming album "Infinity Plus One" (to be released on the 29th February - it's not often you get the chance to release on that date! :-) ).

This is a bit of a departure from my usual - there are more guitars than normal for a start (and they're mostly real too!;) and the piano has a much less important part than normal.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

Cheers,
Terry.

You have this quality I love with Vangelis: the whole track is super nice, but yet there is one or two moments in it that go beyond being nice. I find that Mike does it more with longer build ups. Vangelis and you can get to this state in a split second with a chord change. It's a little bit counterintuitive because you'd think Mike is more about assembling disjointed bits and pieces together so that one particular bit would be more emotional, but I think he is not into emotional chord changes that much, more into build ups.

Wow, Olivier - that's some compliment. Thank you!

If I knew how I did it I could bottle it and sell it... oh hang on a moment, I DO sell it! ;-) Now if only I could afford to market it!

Cheers,
Terry.

Yeah, very tough to be a professional musician. A strategy I was thinking of would be to include one cover that everybody knows, so people would find you when they'd search for this famous song. That's how they launch the American Idols actually, they just do karaoke. Even Richard Branson asked Mike to cover Abba. It's too hard anyway, better to do music as a hobby than self destruct trying to make a living out of it.
