Bridget St. John

http://www.lyricsfind.com/m....ing.php

The same info is probably found in tubular.net, of course.

(is her name pronounced Sinjin, or St. John?)

I always thought that "Uncle Rat's Consent" would be a good name for an oldfield cover band.

I also figure that Froggy is probably going to have to walk when he goes courting. He's not going to get very far trying to use airliners or metro trains while armed with sword and pistol. Looking forward (ugh) to the future when this traditional folk song has been sanitized of the weapons.

If I'm not wrong, the vocalist was Vanessa Branson and not Bridget St. John.

Indeed, it's even pointed out in The Amarok FAQ.

I've just finally managed to hear Froggy in it's entirity for the first time  :) , has a wonderful childlike innocence about it.

The line "And they all got swallowed by a big fat snake" is apparently wrong, despite this is how  the lyrics sound.  Assuming this line is an error, does anyone know the real lyrics.  I also understand there's a version with Mike signing the lyrics in German, has this ever been officially released?  Does anyone know if the German version is available anywhere? Please  :)

Check this lyric page for someone else's version:

This one has "They all went sailing 'cross the lake
And got swallered up by a big black snake".
