As well as Froggy Went A Courting I also found there was a bit of Tubular Bells Part 2 on Mike Oldfield's Single.  What exactly did Mike Oldfield use from Tubular Bells Part 2?

The Bagpipe Guitars bit. It's a more acoustic arrangement and a different recording

Yes - I prefer it to the album version.

Thankyou for your replies Jammer and T4.  :)  :)
I suppose it would sound very familiar to the "Tubular Bells 2003" version of "Bagpipe Guitars" because the middle part of that song also had a "more acoustic arrangement" as well.  An excellent varriation on "Bagpipe Guitars".  :)  :)

It starts off almost as if it was an outtake from Hergest Ridge (it was recorded at around the same time), with acoustic guitar and oboe. It does then progress to something which is vaguely similar to what Mike did on Tubular Bells 2003 - first a section with multitracked distorted guitars, then a quieter section with a classical guitar.
