A small piece. I picture it starting immediately following a section that builds into a huge thing and then stops and goes straight into this...

Most will probably recognise what it's inspired from. It's definitely a Mike Oldfield-inspried track. Most of the instrumental probably won't be so Oldfield-y.

It'll be rerecorded for the instrumental. I just wanted to lay it down first. Which means the drums will almost certainly be changed. I don't like typical MIDI drums ;).

Enjoy...The instrumental has been coming along rather well since 'Illusions'.

I almost found myself singing (or rather grunting?) "Flogo Graph Dough Wenogwah!" over this. :) Congrats, Brandon - excellent as usual. ;)

Hi
Great start - and then your melodi  - try to make more repeats make your loop twice instead of one, there no need to hurry the melodi

Thumbs up, I hope you'll make a NEW version

Yes, it's definitely just a track to lay down the idea. When I put it into the instrumental it'll be re-recorded etc.

Thanks for the words, everybody!

I gave it another listen recently alongside the long instrumental (which I frequently listen to :))

When you incorporate it into the instrumental, it might be good first stating the chord progression for a few cycles, then build up the layers like the end of Hergest Ridge Pt 1. Without the accompanying guitar figures, it wont seem to obvious that you got the idea from Incantations Part 1

Like torbenyj said drawing out the cycle would improve it, but padding it out as long as bits of Incantations would seem a bit too long
