I'd like to know when there will be a TV broadcast of the German nights of the proms. Or will it be available on DVD?

As has been stated in the official NOTP forum, there will most likely be no broadcast of the NOTP on German TV due to strict product placement guidelines that conflict with the prominent role of a large Scandinavian electronics company in the name of the event - they have at least completely managed to avoid mentioning it in the BR3 and WDR radio broadcasts, even though otoh SWR1 seemed to have no problem using the full name.

I thought Sony had bought Erricsson - so wouldnt that make it a Japaniees company  ;)
