With evidence emerging that having a track on one of the "Guitar Hero" series of games can boost record sales. What track from Mikes extensive past should we lobby for inclusion on Guitar Hero IV (should there ever be one! ).

My first thoughts would be maybe shadow on the wall or just the mega-popular moonlight shadow. Five miles out could be good as well.

Note I haven't actually played this game so other might well have a better idea of how a Mike track could work than me!

Outcast ROCKS!!!! For me the ultimate would have to be the screaming guitar solo finale to Ommadawn part 1   :)  :D .

I say Tricks of the Light because it lends itself well to the game

Well depending. Is the album really, 'rocky?'  If so, I would say the same as you.  Maybe 'Shadow On The Wall' or 'Five Miles Out.' These show of his fast vibrato.  However I like the guitars in ,'Wonderful Land.' Not really ,'rocky' though is it.

As far as I know about the Guitar Hero game, it's based on guitar solos, and I don't think Mike ever did any of the out-and-out rock solos that may be usually featured in the game. Even on his rockiest stuff he's always had highly expressive, dramatic solos, which aren't really 'rock'. :D "Outcast" and "Altered State" and "Out of Mind" feature impressive layers of powerful guitars, but they don't feature proper solos. So I guess that the only song which can reasonably feature in GH is SotW - a rock song with a fairly good rock solo. :)
