Quote (Olivier @ Oct. 05 2011, 18:25) | I bought some relatively nice headphones, Audio Technica A900, about 9 years ago. My mind tells me they sound mushier and mushier. Is it expected? Or is it because I recently bought nice Bowers & Wilkins iPhone speakers and in-ear heaphones that might be better to my ears?
In any case, I'm going to replace them, because for whatever reason I just don't enjoy them anymore, but was wondering if these things get worst and worst over time or not. I used them on average 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. |
Now that's what's called technological design. I presume you bought the new B&W C5 in-ear headphones which I'm really considering buying. From what I read they shall sound fantastic.
B&W is well known for their excellent sound throughout their whole product range. I can really tell by listening to my Nautilus 804 speakers.
I am quite happy with my Ultimate Ears Super-Fi 5 Pro soundwise but they don't seem to fit well enough to my ears, no matter what size of silicone cover I choose.
