This is my version of the lyrics:
Heaven's Open (12" Mix)
This is that morning It's waiting for you The face of destiny Standing before you
This is zero hour Now it's for you Can you feel that power Inside of you?
This priceless moment In your possession Answers to mysteries Stand in succession
This is zero hour And there's no way back Can you feel that power? In its arms you're wrapped
Heaven's open Sun comes in Now heaven's open Just fly right in
Heaven's open Show me where the sun comes in Heaven's open We can just fly right in
This is that morning This is that vision Out on the world's edge It's your baptism
This is zero hour And your hands are free Can you feel that power? It's ecstasy
Heaven's open Show me where the sun comes in Heaven's open And we fly right in
Heaven's open Show me where, show me where the sun comes in Heaven's open Come on, we can just fly right in
Heaven's open The sun comes in Heaven's open Let that blue sky in
Heaven's open Show me where, show me where the sun comes in Heaven's open Come on, we can just fly right in
Ugo: IMHO the idea of "Get out our wing and just fly right in" is not bad, but I think that the last row of the chorus is the same at 3:21 and 4:08 (the latter is obvious). And here I don't agree with Gandalph, the "on" is there in my opinion, the row sounds like: "Cooome 'n, we can just fly right in".
To the "when / where" question: There is a video clip of this mix on Mike Oldfield's Vault video collection, and it contains Spanish lyrics adaptation. I don't speak Spanish but from "dime por donde" the word "donde" means "where", as far as I know. But I couldn't find "dime" in any of the Spanish dictionaries, what does it mean? Anyway, to the meaning of lyrics "when" suits somehow better.
Gandalph: I think the rows begin acutally with "sh". They might sound as "s" because of the mixing of track (high frequencies are louder; echo). By the same token You can hear the background vocals singing rather "Heavents open". (IMHO)
What do You think?
-------------- If I were music, I would be Enigmatism.
