I've got this, and I've watched it all the way through at least four times... I find it addictive. I agree completely with everything you say, Raven, especially about the combination of music and landscape; indeed, there are some moments where it almost looks like a tourist agency's promo for Iceland - "If you don't know how beautiful Iceland is even in fall and winter, watch this and judge for yourself!" To me, the best watching experience with this DVD is having manager John Best's commentary alternately on and off - switching it on whenever the guys are talking (with terrible accents!! ) or anyway when there is no music, and shutting it off when they do actually play. This may take just a small amount of commitment on your remote control, but IMHO it really pays off.
P.S.: Maybe the definition of 'tour' is a little bit unfitting for the contents of Heima, as it was filmed at the end of their 'proper' world tour, i.e. they toured the world, then came back home and did a series of free, unannounced and almost unplanned gigs. These gigs (and the journey) were filmed for the DVD. However, they travelled all over Iceland, so I guess that the whole thing can still be called a tour.
