I like the way that I can play along in different ways!

I can play all way through on acoustic guitar all the acoustic parts.

I can play all way through on electric guitar all the electric guitar parts.

Swap in between acoustic and electric guitars for the correct parts!

Mike has some very fine albums to play guitar or keyboard along with... such as TubularBells 2 and Voyager... their melodies lend themselves perfectly for people who can't play acoustic guitar too well, like myself.
I'm sure you (David) can play along with some more complicated bits... thats cool!
I always love playing along with Dark Island from Voyager and of course more songs

Sometimes, I'm lazy, and I just use one guitar all the way through!

I have a Yamaha FG-330? acoustic guitar, Tokai Strat, Gordon Smith GS-2 and a Celebrity Superstrat with has 2 humbuckers and 24frets!

It's great because whenever you play a different part on a different guitar you listen to the album in a diffent light - because the acoustic guitar plays different parts to the electric guitar - usually! Same if you played piano and other instruments as well! You get less bored as result of hearing each separate part!
