Fortunately, there are many. :) Look at the poll here!

BTW, I was also in that category till 2002. ;)

Heh, looks like EeToN got there first - that'll teach me for going off and doing other things in the middle of writing replies...or perhaps it's just a sign of getting old :D

There's quite a well responded-to poll in the Polls and Opinions area which I think should give you a fairly good idea of the different age ranges represented here.

There's also a topic for fans who are around 17 years old in the 'Fans Around The World' area, which you might find interesting (though bear in mind it was started over 4 years ago).

I hope those help answer your question :)

Another interesting poll might be "at what age did you start listening to Mike?" I can't seem to remember if that one exists already...

It had to be about 11 or 12 for me; when I got a hold of my brother's TB1 record he had slung under the bed...

I wonder what my musical likes would be if my brothers had not introduced me to Mike Oldfield, Renaissance, the Moody Blues, and the Alan Parsons Project.

i first listened to amarok in the beginning of my 10 grade year last year, that was my first oldfield song, and i thought it was brilliant.  my friend had downloaded it randomly searching for tubular bells and found amarok as well.  in that year we are starting a "oldfield awareness" i guess is the best way to put it and alot of people in our school, well about 20 or so, are avid oldfield fans.
