Are you talking about actual files? If so, what is the extension on the file name?

you know in windows maps (dont know what its in english) The place where i have installed the game, for me on the c disk. With the programsfiles.
There i have 1 map with name Oldfield Interactiv ltd, then under this its 3 maps; maestro, maestro demo and tres luans. 2 of all this  maps have data maps. In this data maps its mediafiles. I use winamp so they are winamp files. But they dont work!!
The name of Maestro media songs is forexample; are you there, explosion, glassgull, maestro2 ect...

'map'=folder (or subdirectory) in normal English.
All sounds are packed into the big .dat files for each game in OGG-Vorbis compressed format. Some (many? - at least, not all of them) of the sounds will be uncompressed during the game into the 'data' folder, where they are (AFAIR) stored as .snd files, using some scrambled uncompressed audio format (which is not the original .snd format that Winamp might expect, to make it more difficult to rip them).
I don't remember if there was any software to unscramble the .snd files, but there definitely exists an OGG Ripper to get the original .ogg files directly from the .dat files (which, btw., would be a violation of the game's user license as well...).
