I've just discovered "google trends" which attempt to show which areas of the world use search terms the most. Hungary seems very interested in Mike Oldfield!

Check the site yourself by following this link

Hopefully we shall see a new spike of interest (bigger than 2005's) when his new album comes out in October...

So, Mike, it's worth coming to Hungary if you consider touring. ;)

BTW, I was also surprised seeing that result. But it's a pleasant surprise, nevertheless. :)

Out of curiosity I just had a wee check on this.

There is a clear spike for MOTS which seems now to be dying down now. More interesting is the clear increase in news articles compared to the time around the light + shade release. Backs up the extra promotional work that Universal seemed to be doing.

Another thing I notice is that the word Hungary in posts above comes out in red for some reason the same way that new does. No, this isn't me playing about with coloured fonts again, it just seems to be a weird iconboard feature!

EDIT: Aaaah! It is only red when you look at the article as the result of a search containing that word. Same must be true of "new". If you search for articles on Hungary and then click the link to this thread you'll hopefully see what I mean...

EDIT2: Also you don't see the news articles with the link at the top of this thread. You should see that aspect of the graph if you follow this link...
