Jeez, some stupid artist which obviously doesn't have any musical talent has covered To France (this was on the main page of tubular.net, I know) but now the videoclip is constantly being played on the tv here in the netherlands.

So, she has a bigger hit here in the netherlands than Oldfield had.  :( And the stupid thing is, when you say it's from Oldfield, you get "huuuuh.... whooezzz oldfield???" or when I play the orginal, you get "Hey, that's from Novaspace!"..... I hate commercial music!!!!!

I know what you mean,it's crazy,but then again,Mike won't worry as he is filling his bank account with this release,which he of course ok'd,and at least we get to hear the great man on TV/radio again,so it's not all bad news.

well, I don't hate any musicians for their work.
and I absolutely can't understand why people become angry when Mike is covered - this means that he's still known.
about the musical chapter of Novaspace's "To France"-version: well, take a listen to the crap that's released as "Mike Oldfield" - remixes on his CD-Maxis and then tell me - what's the difference in there?
personaly I like the "To Trance" version of Novaspace's cover much.....
