I have recently fallen in love with the music of Id Guinness, a Canadian artist from Vancouver. Well-crafted, intelligent lyrics, great melodies and music. Love his voice, too. (-:
At the moment, "Down to This," from Cure for the Common Crush is getting airplay from morow.com (prog rock station out of Paris). How to describe his music: Hmm....it's his own. (-: If you like Steven Wilson/Blackfield/Porcupine Tree and Neil Finn with a touch of Pink Floyd mixed in for good measure, you'd love Id!
You can download via iTunes, but it is usually more supportive of the artists and bands to purchase through their websites. Id's material may be found here and is obtainable digitally or in CD format.
