Hi altogether,

maybe some of You might have anticipated the completion of "ONWARD" or even some new tunes from me -
well, "ONWARD" will be released within the next two months.
Unfortunately a few delays in casting about someone playing the designated English Horn, occured.
Finally I met a guy hitting the spot.

So, here are two new B-tunes (merely layouts) to bridge the time gap.

The first one is called "ERRATIC IMPASTO" and the second one is called "MISS YOU"...

...landscapes set to music...

Much fun with both of them...  :)

Cheers, Klaus

Listened to erratic impasto, very interesting! Many very very unexpected turns :) I like it when a lot happens in music. I think I can hear some Jean Michel Jarre influences there also, am I right?

Thanks a lot for Your compliment, Bob.

Well, analytically speaking one might also discover influences of Philip Glass, Tangerine Dream, King Crimson, Django Reinhardt
as well as some jazzy smells and other "spices"  ;) .

All these different "colours" went in completely unintentional - I just made it up as it flowed out...

Cheers, Klaus

Hi Klaus

I love 'Miss You' ... god the guitar lead is so Mike Oldfield. Have you added your music to the tubular.net album? If not get Milamber to have a listen.

Nice, Klaus.  Do I hear a reference to "Music" by John Miles in "Erratic Impasto"?

Ooh Simon,

I dont't know, at what point You are "slightly reminded" of John Miles' "Music", but I definitely didn't intend to give "Erratic Impasto" that kind of timbre.

In the seventies, when John Miles kind of stormed the charts, I liked "Music" but today, I think, I'm fed up with it.

Don't get me wrong - it's still a special kind of music, but I listened to it far too often...(sorry John)

Cheers, Klaus

Yes but there will always be that great lyric:

"Music was my first love, and it will be my last"

mind you I did a track that was meant to sound like Ultravox recently and part of it ends up sounding like 'Crazy Horses' by the Osmonds! Not cool.......

Well Quietman and Nightspore,

I am absolutely with You. I would even put it this way:

Music is my driving force in every subsecond of a heartbeat.

Hey Nightspore, could it be, that I sense a dose of
inappropriate cynicism in Your comment?
If so - why do You have to react like that?

Don't worry Klaus. I didn't take offence. That's just NS being funny. Ultravoilence sounds a good title for an Industrial type track! Probably is a grunge band already named !

I like those John Mile's lyrics and the music that follows ..."to live without my music would be impossible to do - in this world of trouble my music pulls me through"....

It goes - de de der, de de de de de der, de der de de de de de der.....

That's right, QM. I was having a yarn to Dunlooser about Beethoven, and that led to Clockwork Orange, where Beethoven and ultraviolence are intimately linked. Word association football took me from ulteaviolence to ultravox. Tubular logic.

Nice to hear from you Wiga. Well my music really does pull me through. I just went to You Tube and found a live performance of John Miles doing    Music. Brought a tear or two.…

Klaus - your celtic melodies here are REALLY very beautiful and heartfelt.

Quietman - I've not heard that song in a while - I'll have to have a listen. It's a tear jerker one!

Christ - I opened a whole hornet's nest here, didn't I?  Sorry Klaus!  It's just that bit in the middle of "Music" where it gets all up-tempo - not the "Music was my first love" bit!

Hahaha...no problem Simon. It makes no odds - I'm used to such little communication-catastrophes.

I already understood, what You what you were trying to lead to...

No trouble - You know:

If You feel a little glum...
