Maybe I can help you a bit. Here you can find photos from original vinyl inner sleeve, which are not included on cds.

Thanks very much!  I love the one of Mike's guitar collection - I hadn't seen it before!! I forget which page, but in Google Images there's one of Mike playing a Sunburst colour Ovation Acoustic - I've seen it in the 'Guitarist' '84 article, but on Google Images you can see more of the same shot!!

The images on Google Images have changed since I last looked - there were a few of his Gibson L-6S which have gone, but there are others.

Wow! I love the Discovery ones. I like the one of Mike playing the Ovation: i've always thought that they looked really nice. The photo of Mike's guitars is also very nice, but I was wondering if anyone could do a 'name the guitar', just for interest. 2nd from the left is the red strat, and to the right of that looks like a Fender Bass of some sort. To the right of that is the SG, and I'm guessing that the L6-S is to the right of that. I don't know the one on the far right, and the far left one can't really be seen at all.

Thank-you for helping us help you help us all.

From left to right...

Fender Stratocaster, too much in the dark to tell the details, but it looks like it's probably the sunburst one.

Fender Strat, this time in Fiesta red.

The bass looks like a Roland G88 bass synth controller.

Gibson SG/Les Paul junior, in cherry red.

Gibson Les Paul Junior, TV yellow.

Roland G808 synth guitar. Both the bass and guitar had ordinary magnetic pickups as well as the synth pickup. The synth pickup could be used to control a synthesiser like the GR300 (guitar) or GR33b (bass) - both analogue synthesisers created especially for the purpose.
