I found this link today, I thought it may be of some interest to some folks about here.

Interesting read, I am sure you'll agree, but what's your opinion of it?

To be honest, I think it exists, I think some people have it. But I don't think for a second I have it. I am an internet user, I regularly update a website etc, but I could easily do without it if I had a soundproof room and be able to record and practice music all night. I use an Instant messenger, but it's on while I do my work (Production of music either for college assignments or personal music - usually the latter) so that I can keep in touch with people (usually music related collegues, and of course freinds with whom are mostly ones I know in "real life".)

That and its an alternative at late night when I cant play any instruments as my family sleep, unlike myself who has occasional trouble sleeping.

I would be interested to see if anyone here believes they may tick all the boxes in that article.

Sounds like psychobabble to me.  Then again, I could just be in denial

Hey jonny - you don't think you might be suffering from Music Addiction Disorder (M.A.D. - an unfortunate acronym), do you?  :p

Everyone's interpretation is different, and everyone has a right to that opinion. There is no "right" one, I am adding this post to communicate my thoughts to share them with like-minded souls who will be able to comment in good nature.

Reading between the lines, I see a    here. Or could it be that my hidden addict is pulling a 'tell-tale heart'?
