I'm Jonathan and I'm 28 years old and have been listening to Mike Oldfield since I was 3 (apparently it was the organ drone part from 'Tubular Bells (Part 1)' where I said I liked it 'cos it was weird and spooky!   ). Hope to be able to blend in with the tubular.net community and share in the discussions about the legend that is Mike Oldfield! I had a dream where I heard note-for-note the bass-only booming riff on side 1 at the 7:00 minute mark. Skip to 1973. I get the album then hear that part and think, "where did I hear that before?" Then I remembered that dream in Taiwan in 1967. Oldfield had my complete attention since then. Maybe that's where I got the Mike Oldfield craze from. I think I was 6 years old when I watched Bassie en Adriaan.
