This track first was on the drawing board in February this year. Only now is it in any fit state to be published.

Choirs and e-bow!

Quite churchy and spiritual and then it goes gritty gritty - like good and evil combined.

I agree Wiga.

I'm guessing Quietman grew up watching the Same John Carpenter movies  I did.

Really liked it  :)
If drugs ever became legal this is the sort of thing you would play at dinner party's.

Nice, Powerful, Heavy.
Good job :)

The latter part reminded me of some of the Tr3s Lunas music that isn't on the record.

I really enjoyed it. Perhaps a bit too much reverb on the choir but other than that I really like the mix of styles and the clarity of the music.

Cheers,
Terry.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the great responses. This one didn't want to leave the 'mixing desk' but after downloading Sampletank Free and the Guitar bank I found that e-bow preset I'd been looking for. Someone has compared it to the 'lovechild of Depeche Mode and OMD and another comment was the lead sinder of Rammstein should sing on it!! Well I hadn't heard of them until today. Interesting to say the least but I can hear the similarities.

Hi Wiga -  thinking about it it is good and bad ass particulary at the end with all those industrial drums as well.

Hi Milamber - you are sooo right. Love John Carpenter, The Thing, Dark Star (oh god I love that film), Escape from New York, Christine...... I hope you don't need the drugs to listen to it. Mind you I'm on some when I finished it!!!

Hi nightspore - I will haver to have another listen to Tr3s Lunas to hear the reference

Hi Ginger Daddy - yeah, the chorus may have a wee bit too much reveb. I do think I will update it soon as I love the e-bow melody at the end . I think it also needs some chords putting in as it lacks fullness

thanks milamber, that took me back...

I forgot about "Assault on Precinct 13"! I forgot to mention, I recorded some songs in the early 80's with my friends and we called ourselves 'Precinct 13'... one track on the cassette was based around the main theme for ... "Precinct 13". One day I will convert the 5 tracks to mp3 from cassette and maybe publish them....

I am obsessed with this track...it's a long time since I'ver heard anything quite this good. The last time I played one single track so many times was with various Muse stuff ~ not that I am comparing it to them at all, but it's the quality, something deeply mysterious and compelling about it. Put's me in mind of the Terminator, Judgement Day...but it's more than that

really really good
