Hi, I was just wondering if this song was actually written by Mike or if it is an arrangement of another persons song. I think it is such a beautiful song.

I'm certain it must be mikes song but i know he has arranged a lot in the past.

Thanks

I think it might actually be an arrangement by Mike of a piece of music written by another person in his band at the time. I know for example that Morris Pert has written some amazing stuff for Brand X, and that he has a huge interest in Celtic culture (it's obvious even from just looking at his website). Not that I really suspect him to be the author.
Orabidoo is after all credited as a group composition, but I find it unlikely that every member of the group actually contributed to the composition. It is possible, of course.

I remember reading somewhere that Rick Fenn wrote "Ireland's Eye".
It's a great tune!
