Since I'm not registered I can't open a new topic, so here it is what I have to say. It seems that we're all luky:

Judge by yourselves ... None seems to know nothing about it (at least in other websites, except for "Lord of the bells"), but the website is a ... acceptable proof. Regards.

NB: The label in which the DVD is supposed to be published in the Netherland is PIAS, so it doesn't seem to be a bootleg or an unofficial release ...

As I have said before, since I'm not registered I couldn't start a new topic, so I had to post this, in my opinion, interesting information in the most suitable topic. Sorry for the confusion.

There is at least one topic about the DVD already. PIAS exists, but doesn't mention the DVD on its website, and they don't seem to think Mike's fans are important enough to answer any questions about it. We will place the item in the news area if PIAS can confirm it, but otherwise, I'm not sure they deserve the promotion.

Registering here is free, and only takes a few minutes - you just have to give the username you want, type in a password (twice) and your email address (which is used solely for forum purposes - you won't get any spam as a result, and if you're really worried about that, you can always set up a new address for it). If you don't want to do that, I'm afraid you'll just have to stick to the topics which other people post. Posting things which are off topic isn't a good way to make friends here...

Back to the subject: yes, the album has been delayed. Mike had hoped to have it finished by now, but it seems it's going to take him a little longer. Early guesses suggest that something might appear by summer this year, but we'll really just have to wait and see.

It wouldn't be a good idea to kill yourself, Tubularman - you'd never hear the new album if you did that.

No Tubularman don't do it - please don't kill yourself.   If  the album is likely to be released early summer, it will hopefully be in time for my birthday ,(hint, hint), in July  :)  :) .

I just have something to say about this.
In fact, I think that it's a little unfair from Mike, letting us wait for such a long time, without any Informations about the Progress.

It's just getting boring, without any news from Mike. It's like the Fan Boards are drying out slowly. I can't remember a time when it was more boring.

We talked about such a lot of things, but everything is said and there are only few topics left, to talk about and most of them aren't even interesting.

Every time, I log in to an Oldfield Board, it's nearly the same as entering a huge deser't.  *sigh*

PLEASE MR OLDFIELD! HELP US![B]

At least you aren't a Kate Bush fan. It has been 12 years since her last album. However, as I did not like the last album and the one before that, I've not been one of those holding my breath.

Not quite so. The MVR Club board is full of new ideas and discoveries..... But I appreciate that's not a substitute for news about the next album.

Gee the last time I saw Kate Bush was wearing a suit with hair down to her bum conducting an orchestra to Rocket Man. Don't tell me thats 12 years ago!!!! Was told the Red Shoes wasn't a great album, I only have a Best Of cd but I still listen to it often.

As far as waiting for Mikes new album, I think we are lucky that we get them as often as we do. I mean it's been 23 in 30 years, that's got to be better than many artists. And with Tres Lunas II I feel satisfied for the moment. Track 10 is the best thing I have heard for a long long time, I can't listen to it without jumping around!

Tracy.

Yes, he has been prolific. Compare him to Genesis.  By the time they broke up, I think they were doing an album once every 5 years. (i.e. it is hard to "miss" a band once it breaks up if they hardly ever checked in when they were "together").

Wow! How do you know? ;)
By the way. By chance, you aren't the one, who does the Hiawatha II Magazine, aren't you?

@ Tubularman

Yeah, mixing is not bad, but I prefere Fan Compositions. In the German Oldfield Community are some guys, dooing great Music in Oldfield style. Check them out, I guess they will be happy about a new fan. :)

You are right. It isn't.
Additionally, I didn't even play this game. Not that it were bad, but it is not realy from the kind of games that I like  to play. It's making me sick, if I play it for longer than an hour, because, you are unable to safe and you never realy see a game progress. Some people might like it, and I think, there are some good bits of Mikes Music in it, too (but it's a pity, that they aren't realy brought to an end. It's some kid of wasted resources in my opinion. But that is a matter of personal taste ans view), but it's realy not my Style.
So I'm showing not much interest for the things, going on in the MVR Board.

For TL and TB2003 he kept us informed about the progress, but for his new album, not much info on it.I personally think that this silence can be related to what's on his new album that can be quite suprising to us the fans.Me a bit tired of waiting for an answer from him about the subject, but if he prefers to keep this way, let's respect his decision to do it so.
