Quote (Ugo @ July 12 2007, 19:33) | @ larstangmark - I agree with Alex and I don't agree with you about number two. :) The whole of TBIII was inspired by Mike being on Ibiza and getting his own fears (his personal demons) out of his body. "Outcast" is the beginning of the exorcism, in FAtC he succeeds in it. :) |
Well, I can be wrong. I'm not too familiar with TB3 actually.
But now I remember where I heard the phrase "Out, demons out!" before. Sometime in the late 60s there was a "peace march" towards the pentagon. A band called The Fugs were there as some kind of spokespersons for the hippie movement. Under the leadership of the Fugs the whole crowd chanted "Out, demons out!" in order to make the Pentagon levitate (!). The Edgar Broughton band later made a renditon of this "song" and did the "Out, demons out!"-routine on stage. Interestingly, drummer (and brother of Edgar) Steve Broughton played drums on the original TB!
