Well, I was just listening to the FINAL of TB2003, and I think it finally starts to grow on me. I like it!

In the beginning I didn't want to jump to any quick conclusions (like I did on TMB) but like I said I was listening and I think the voice of John Cleese really fits in. It made me even chuckle!

And it sounds crystal clear the recording. It's Tubular Bells Mike eventually wanted to, so...

Yeah, "Mandolin" was funny.  Mike has put more emotion into the guitar playing, it kind of pull's me in.  He took his time recording it this time.  Also the piano is quite funky on the finale.  What do you reckon on the piano intro?

Yes, I was first listening and I thought: "What...? The piano sounds excately like the piano in TB73. Did he sample it??" :) But I guess he used same sort of piano or something. Pianos tend to sound the same sometimes.

It's completely new, actually it sounds similar to Tubular Bells 2 in terms of effects and possibly the same piano.  But did he sample the farfisa organ sound from TB73?

I don't know. He used as little synthesizers as possible, and he used a Hammond Organ too. Why he did that is unknown to me, did he want to use it in the original recording too? I know he wanted to use a Mellotron but that somehow never made it.
