I just watched the recent keynote from Apple, and they announced (and demonstrated) a new feature in iTunes called iTunes LP. Basically it's adding linear notes (just as you are used from the vinyl records artwork) digitally to an album download. So you have lyrics, videos, galleries and all the extras which gives the digital download a more romantic felling to it. They are giving the oppertunity to let the artist (or record company) to add these extras and design them like they want.
So this is exciting news, as it is now possible to add extra content to Mike's digital albums from iTunes. I think Tubular Bells will be the first one to add these contents (probably the 2009 edition), but wouldn't it be great for this from his upcoming remastered/remixed albums?
(if you want to see a demo, watch the keynote on apple.com or try it yourself on iTunes 9 with for example The Doors album).
