A collaboration from 3 guys at Soundcloud.

With shades of Oldfield, Floyd and Enigma.

Just like to say it was a blast being part of this production.
For the many hrs and late nights we've spent, Cam has done a brilliant job on the mix and created another fabulous journey for the ears, well done mate... maybe a pt3 down the track?

Thanks to all involved.. nice work guys

A part III would be nice.
In fact why not make a full album?

A part 3 ...well never say never.
Although our flautist seems to of shot through and I'd like to keep it a threesome if possible.

Always up for working with Mike though, that was a treat  :D

I've just listened to Jurassica II over on SoundCloud.

I must say that it was a very enjoyable experience.

I can hear some Flloyd in there but also some Klaus Shultze (I'm thinking Dark Side OF The Moog).

All in all though, it has it's own unique sound and feel and doesn't sound like any kind of tribute recording.

The Roland drums sound very acoustic and there is a great driving section at the end which I think the drumming just drive it along nicely along with those nice power chords.

I love the mixing job on this composition. Nice stereo separation.

I listened on headphones so I could hear everything. It would be easy to turn this mix into a mess because of all the instruments and sounds going on but it just holds together nicely. Some good sound effects and nice synth sound choices which add to the overall feel.

The native American flute is gorgeous and something I haven't heard in a peiee of music since Sacred Spirit.

Overall I really enjoyed Jurassica II. It evoked images of ancient rain forests and a time long forgotten.

Many thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Matt

Thanks for the listen and kind words Matt, much appreciated.

Both Mike and myself spent many hours on the mix resulting in nearly 20 versions I sent to him for feedback and rework.
Think it paid off in the end though.

Really pleased you liked the drumming too.

Thanks again Cheers.  :)
