WHY did Mike and Kate Bush never collaborate? You know how ORGASMIC that would've been for me? Seriously, in my opinion, they are the god and goddess of music. A collaboration would only be heaven. Ok, maybe I'm a little obsessed with the idea... what does everyone else think?

I never really thought about Mike and Kate collaborating before although I love both artists, perhaps because I was delighted when she collaborated with Peter Gabriel, another favourite, and my wish these days is to see Mike and Moby collaborate, do you like him? I think it would be exciting to see Mike and Kate work together.

I've finally just bought "aerial" and it is wonderful, especially second disk. I love the way the theme persists through the tracks, very similar in structure to some of MO's intrumentals.

I agree it would be a very interesting combination, possibly magical if they really clicked and found the right material together. Hopefully the two of them are like minded enough that it one day might happen...

The Main Question would be....Who would fit in to whos "World" Two big Egos Colliding....Cannt imagine
the Guitar type tks suiting to much... The Peter Gabriel
link up worked fine cause theyre buddies and are both a
little more closer in artistic terms... imo...
I guess a Folk type Track would work as MO has a good
background in this sort of stuff... The most interesting
Kate Bush Albums  imo are "Hounds of Love" and "The Dreaming"  both really hot albums.. as Kate does the
Vocals its always hard to imagine the backing tk getting
as much credit..   Always a "Vocal Duet" mostly to make
people raise the Eyebrows..

I just bought a new washing machine and I can't stop singing
'washing machine, washing machine, washing machine, get that dirty shirty clean'

I'm thinking maybe little Bertie wrote that song.

Washing machines I'm ok with but every time I hear a wood pidgeon I'm now trying to think what it is saying!

Deadcalm: the vision I would have is more of the two of them collaborating on a long themed "story" piece which could mix songs with intrumental sections. Though I agree they both have stong visions of what they want I would hope that given more control of their own sections might allow the collaboration to work...
