According to The Official Mike Oldfield Information Service, the Finnish CD pressing of Pekka Pohjola 'Keesojen Lehto' (otherwise known as the 'Mathematicians Air Display' or 'The Consequences of Indecisions' and first released in 1976) featuring Mike on guitar is being remastered and re-released in March. You can pre-order it from their site for $29.50.

Sounds like it's probably a Finnish label, and therefore available in Finland (and scarce everywhere else), but I don't know.

The most expensive CDs in the UK are about £16 - I'd doubt it would cost more than that. At the moment, mikeoldfield.org doesn't actually show the item on the order form, but I assume that will change shortly...

I would suggest trying info@mikeoldfield.org for more information.

Hi,

actually mikeoldfield.org shows it in its PayPal test form (which is not directly visible in their menu yet, but there's an info about testing PayPal) : there is en entry with a "Keesojen Lehto CD (Pekka Pohjola)" for 24 USD.

I subscribed to Dark Star + bought this a month ago (using Paypal, seems OK), and when I knew about the remaster, I immediately asked them. I was answered that I would get the remaster (they don't even have the previous edit any more). They also told me the delay of my order was due to availability of the remaster ("early march").

Dark Star Paypal link (but you'd better contact them before): http://www.mikeoldfield.org/magazine/pporder.htm

Cheers
Jerome

Hi !

Finally got the thing 2 weeks ago (!!), and it's just GREAT. One of Mike best guitar performance ever (yes, I said it), wonderful composition of the Finn guy... Plus an excellent remastered version.

smile
