Hello,

The last months I have thought a lot about a forthcoming new Langdana Album. I have spent some hours in my studio for recording the first ideas for that album. I experimenting with sounds and creating with the sounds my special sound. I call the album "Ring of Changes" because a lot of things happened the last months in my life and also around me here which has a lot to do with "Changes". Life is like an evolution and all the time in a movement, in motion………and I think this is the direction I want to go with this new forthcoming album.

I want to give you the music tracks again for a free downloading in the way I have done it with the last album “Out of the dark into the light”. I hope that you all “Dive in my music” again and you like it a bit?

Well…..I think I let my music speak to you now

You can download the first 6 and a half minutes “The Voice and Changes” for free from my homepage:

http://hometown.aol.de/langjoer/langdana.html

If you want, please visit me also at myspace:

See you :)

Joerg, it has been a bit of a miserable day for various reasons, and I came home and checked my email glumly - and found your message, and my goodness there you were, firing up again. I downloaded it straight away.

When I heard your guitar singing yet again with that distinctive Langdana voice, I couldn't help smiling. It was like an old friend calling unexpectedly at just the right moment on a dark night. I think this is a superb beginning to the next album. I love the way the mysterious wash of formless sound opens it, and then the guitar pierces through - almost like a cry. The guitar-playing is so sensitive it makes me ache inside.

This is just marvellous, Joerg. Easily as good as anything you've done before. Full of brilliant musicianship, but more importantly, full of feeling and spirit. Thank you.

While I think of it, if the downloads run out, you can also get Langdana's latest track at lyricless.com: http://www.lyricless.com/view_article.php?id=680

And of course, there are plenty of other Langdana tracks on the site as well. :)

Hi, Jorg,

As I told you yesterday on the mail I sent you, there was a longtime without posting here, even without giving any news... perhaps more than a year, or two...
I don't know why, yesterday I decided to come back and have a look at the forum, to get some news of people thet I've never met but that I consider friends sharing a bit of my life. Today I've come back to read thid post again, and I've found that you posted it yesterday... the same day that something brought me back here. What a coincidence... maybe more than this. I've also found in this post an old friend,
Oblique,
and I've seen that also yesterday it was his birthday... more coincidences?

Yesterday was the day to come back here, and meet you all again. I'm happy to see that you're still here, and creating good music. Thank you very much for sharing your sound.
Still flying with "The Voice and Changes"

Nice to see you all!!

@ Oblique: It's a little bit late, Mark, but happy birthday!!

Best regards,

Gaspar, from Mallorca, Spain.

Jorg,

Similar sentiments as some previous posts....having a "bad" day and heard this song.  Suddenly I was transformed to another space in time to a state of total relaxation. Thanks.

Oh yeah, from a technical standpoint it was first rate!  Your guitar playing rivals Viper for me and that's a good thing!

Hi,

“Thank you”.... very much, Moz, Rebecca, Alan, Oblique, Shine, fastguy101... for leaving a comment here on this thread and a “thank you” to all the people who have downloaded my new pieces of music.

A special "thank you" to Ben, who has uploaded these tracks to lyricless and giving them there a good home!

It’s so great that I can share my music with all of you.

Well…these were the first two pieces of music from my forthcoming album “Ring of Changes”. At the moment I’m working on the next piece of music. It’s in the way like writing a book to create the “Ring of Changes”. Let us see how the story is going on, ok? :music:  :xmas:

Wishing you all a great weekend and I’m coming back as soon as possible with a new track here on this thread….

See you then ;)

Tschüss

Hi, :)

believe me, I really don’t want to start this new year 2008 with sadly tunes because this year has deserve to be a good one for us all! Because of that I think I have to explain my new piece of music “What about us?” a bit. This piece of music is a very sad one and it makes me always thinking about that there exist a dark side in our world which is make by humans and the way they are behave which we are all faced sometimes in the News or reality. I’m sure you know what I mean with that, please think about……. I ask sometimes myself “What about us?”

This MP3 is  available for a free downloading from my homepage:

http://hometown.aol.de/langjoer/langdana.html

Beside of this I really wish you all from my deepest heart a "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008"

See you all  :music:

I'm listening now for the fourth time, Joerg.

There is something about your music, and your playing, that pierces straight through all the layers - so that without knowing why, without any obvious cause, the emotion is just released somewhere deep inside. This new piece is so beautiful, and so sad - that it strikes like pain. 'What about us?', indeed. What about all of us, doing more or less the best we can most of the time, and getting buffeted this way and that by misfortunes that are often quite beyond our control. Your music makes me think of an artist friend who died recently, still painting to the end; of another friend whose wife is terribly ill, and has been for years, but who carries on with astonishing bravery.

This is basically, essentially, the human condition; and that is what your music is about, Joerg. It's a kind of parallel in sound for the trials and heartbreaks that we all experience.

Wonderful, my friend. I've said it so often now that it must be losing its impact, but to hear your music like this, released as you give birth to it, is a tremendous privilege. Thank you. I hope 2008 makes your life even richer than it is at present.

Jorg,

It amazes me how you continue to produce such great music!  I'm hearing a bit of David Gilmour influence in your guitar playing (which I love).  The intro thrust into your smooth guitar and for me the "what about us" is more about our place in the universe and perhaps the sadness of never really knowing.

Hi to all there outside in the world, ;)

First I want to say “thank you so much” for all who have come again on this thread for downloading my music and many thanks to all who have left a comment here. The Internet is the “only stage” I have to present my music and you are a fantastic audience!

I come with a new piece of music which is calling “The Face of the Night” which is inspired by a poem from Miss Veronica Cuptor.

More about “The Face of the Night” and for downloading this piece of music please visit my homepage at http://hometown.aol.de/langjoer/langdana.html

I hope you going to “dive in” again in my world of music?

For all of you who likes the Myspace pages I’m here http://www.myspace.com/langdana . Maybe I see one of you also under my friends very soon? ;)

Wishing you all a great day and a wonderful week

Tschüss

I come with a new piece of music which is calling “The Face of the Night” which is inspired by a poem from Miss Veronica Cuptor.

It's taken me a while to get around to responding to this Joerg, but I've listened to it a good deal in the meantime.

I'm not too sure about the poem - not my kind of thing - but the title makes an excellent accompaniment to the music and sets the mood for the kind of thoughts that drift by as I listen.

There's a strange mixture in the music of both pain and beauty which makes it very poignant. The guitar, in particular, seems to evoke feelings of solitude - not loneliness, but solitude - in the face of the darkness (a beautiful darkness, but unknown and possibly dangerous) out there. The quality of these pieces you're producing now is stunning, in my opinion. And your guitar seems to become ever more expressive, searching, reaching for something undefinable. I'm reminded a little of some of the times in Firebeings World, in Tr3s Lunas, hovering by the shore watching the daliphant and the moon.

Thank you, again.

The words to compliment your songs are becoming harder to find.  Just keep doing what you do my friend.
