I was just wondering if anybody agrees with my following opinion:
I consider this section with the bass riff and layering of instruments to be the most perfect example of a riff and most pefect example of a self contained melody.
Do you agree?
What I mean by this, is that as melodies go, this melody is so well structured as a melody line, its shape, its phrase length etc, and the bass line riff is just the most perfect example of what a great supporting line should be?
Just thought I would open that up to everybody!
