Just heard it on National Public Radio on the drive home. It is always amazing how fast life passes by, even when you live into your 90's.  The NPR audio will be available from here in a bit over a half-hour from now (at 19:00 EST). Rest well.

I heard on friday morning while at the Cropredy festival.Very sad loss.Even though very few of the non musicians there would have known who he was and just how important to the whole recording industry (not just That guitar,he invented sound on sound recording in his garage!)there were still tributes paid on stage.RIP Les.
