DTS!! Yeap, sometimes dreams come true :D And the tracklist is just... wow!

I wonder if they had made the 5.1 mix from an original multitrack recording or if it's just a 'virtualized 5.1 mix' made up from the stereo mix... Well, only time will tell...

Just checked Amazon.com - Eagle Rock / Eagle Vision are a US company and this is a region 1 DVD. Does anyone know whether we can expect a a proper (region 2, PAL) release here in Europe?

Indeed, just checked on Play.com  UK site www.play.com/play247.asp?page=search&searchtype+rmti

Great  news I'll order my copy now  :)    :D  ,  pay day at end of the month.   Incidentally has anyone noticed the release date for this falls on Mike's 53rd birthday.  Maybe it's his birthday present to his fans.

Hi Guys esp. Herc

Eagle Rock Corporate HQ is based in London, England UK but has other sites in Europe and USA ....... I believe the dvd will be manufactured in the UK.

There's quite a few UK sites listing the DVD including Amazon UK & Virgin Megastores

Regards

P.S. The UK site is www.eagle-rock.com/eaglerockUK but has no product page for the dvd ........Sophie Ramsden of Eagle Rock stated the product page for the dvd will be put up on the release date ( even though their US site already has one !;)

Moonchildhippy

I realised the release date was on Mike's birthday....... in fact when I enquired about the dvd with Eagle Rock I told them that their decision to release it on Mike's birthday was a nice touch even though I wished it was released tomorrow ! I told them I hope Mike likes his present ....Considering some of the  cheap prices listed for the dvd e.g. £8.99 Amazon UK I hope thats not a reflection of the quality !

A proper release would be one with NO region.

Also, I have yet to see a DVD player that does NOT do both Pal and NTSC with ease.

can someone confirm the lineup.  I last saw Mike in 1980 when Pierre was still with him, but I thought Pierre was out by 1981?

Hi Captainjjb

If the recent google video clips* put up on the net are from the same concert ( linked via the Spanish fan site TaurusIV )
then the line up was:-

MO ; Maggie Riley ; Mike Frye ; Morris Pert ( sp? ) ; Rick Fenn

Therefore no Pierre

Neil

* Poorish sound & image quality but great nontheless !  :D
