Not strictly related to Mike, but as most things I do, strongly influenced by him.

Is this an original composition? Sorry for asking this, Branko - I've no intention at all to question your compositional skills - but this sounds very like a piece by an Italian 1980s dance project called Pink Project. This was formed by Stefano Pulga and Luciano Ninzatti, who became famous by merging The Alan Parsons Project's "Mammagamma" with Pink Floyd's "Another brick in the wall". During their brief period of success, they also released original compositions, one of which was called "Magic flight". The melody and the overall feel of "Magic flight" are remarkably similar to your piece.

Anyway, it's cool. :)

This is an original composition, first released by Space in 1977 and also called Magic Fly. It had moderate success in the UK.

Ah, OK. Nice to know. ;) So it's actually a double cover - Pink Project covering Space's song in 1983, and Branko covering it again now, totally unaware of PP. :D

I'm still to have a proper listening of your piece, B., but I promise I will... shortly. ;)
