Should be able to hear the MO influence in the second half of the piece. Never really bothered to finish this one.

It sounds quite rough around the edges, but you knew that already :)

MIDI instruments aside, the first half reminded me of Mike's early single B-sides. In some respect the fact that it isn't too sterile adds to the charm. Maybe recording it without any obvious synths would help

As the second half doesn't seem to bear any similarities with the first (though it's kind of hard to pick up on a single listening) I don't  see why it should be segued with the song. It was basically the backing from Platinum Pt4 with what sounded like a drunken Keith Emerson on lead synth :) I wasn't too sure about all the portamento on that patch. It only made it sound more synth-like and cheap

However, I did like the song. That first half has its merits. It's always refreshing to hear something with vocals in a rather instrumental-influenced community. Please don't be put off by my comments! I hope they are of some help

Thanks for the comments, Jammer. I, (as well as Tony) enjoy thinking out of the box.

You hit the nail right on the head right here:

"In some respect the fact that it isn't too sterile adds to the charm."

Thanks for picking up on the groove  :)

Julie.
