Mark, and keyboard player Guy Fletcher have recorded a new and intimate version of Mark's classic Going Home(Theme of Local Hero) it was recorded and filmed in Mark's own British Grove Studios in London, and was for the recent virtual Great North Run, check out the video below, to hear the gorgeous music, and Mark's pure melody, and emotional touch. I know Mike is a fan of Mark's too, he even owns a Mark Knopfler Signature Strat.

I used to have this theory that Mark basically is soloing all the time, and once in a while someone just happens to record it.

You could say the same of Mike really, but in his case, he is recording himself.

Mark is playing the Gibson Les Paul most of the time these days, in fact I would say he is more associated with that type of guitar than he is the Fender Strat!!

I would love to hear Mike doing a version of Going Home too.
