I had a great time at the Matt Bianco gig! It was great! I asked if there was a chance of a live DVD from their world tour and there might be!
They did a great selection of material - from the original lineup's first album, from the latest CD, Basia's solo albums and also some of Matt Bianco's post Basia and Danny lineups hits!
Sad to hear that both Matt Bianco and Basia's careers had gone downhill recently, but at least with them re-forming it gives us a chance to see them live! They will be playing small venues in order to build up a following!
We had a long while to wait after the show, as the band held an after show party! Mark Reilly came out first, and I got my ticket signed!
Basia and Danny came out a while later, and I met them and chatted with them and I got my ticket signed! Best of all, I got to hug Basia, then I offered her a kiss after a fan kissed her, and I got to kiss her on both cheeks! I also said hello to Basia's sister - she managed to talk her sister into singing as one of the backing vocalists!
I also asked Basia if she likes latin/jazz singer Bebel Gilberto, as I'd seen her live several months ago, and she said that she'd met her!
