Am I getting senile? I have this flashback of Max performing on a UK talent show in the 80's. The show had Faith Brown as host, with a panel of judges sitting in a balcony box (including Nina Myscow doing a prototype of Simon Cow).

What i really need to know is the name of the show, and how Max presented himself as an amatuer despite singing a Mike song and already appearing on his album.

Can you help me prove my long term memory is not completely kaput?

I can't remember anything about a Max Bacon performance. But the show you might be thinking of with Nina Myscow as a judge could be "New Faces". It was presented by Marti Cane.
