This work is truly sensational, for those who like Mike's longer works, this is more orchestrated than most of Mike's work, perhaps closest to Incantations, but it has his creative use of vocals and a lot in common with Mike's style of composition, and feels like a more organic version of somebody creating their own Tubular Bells. There is even a far-out vocal equivalent of the caveman section. But the two albums are totally different as is this output, I understand, from Byrne's other output. But if Mike had produced this I would regard it as among his best work. Which makes it even stranger that Byrne managed to do it as a one-off! Inspired.

Buy it at Amazon, (I have added a review).
Here. Strongly recommended.

Its a stunning, haunting piece, and David Byrne is to words and songs what Mike is to music, really, creative, versatile, ever changing, erractic maybe. But this piece is absolutely breathtaking and every early period Mike fan should give it a listen!
