I've just uploaded my new track to Soundcloud. The name is a reference to a track on Distant Earth (Crystal Clear) which is a big favourite of mine. It's only short so please take the time to listen and any feedback is welcome.

Thanks

Chris

Beautiful Track Chris.

Would be nice if we could Download a copy.

Pity it was so short ,I could easily see a longer version with chior and a soaring lead guitar over what you have already got there.

Would take it from fantastic to epic imo.

Well Done    :)

I agree with the length, it is a bit too short.

I actually had a "work in progress" with the start of what I was planning as a soaring guitar solo... I didn't feel I could do the music in my head justice though. Maybe I'll make another version and work on the soaring!

Thanks for listening

The pleasure was all mine.

I wasn't trying to nit pick it's just what came to mind on the first listen.

I'm a Typical Oldfield fan, always in search of that soaring lead  :D

Have a listen to the WIP version and see if you think I was heading in the right direction. Maybe I was listening to it now... hmmm, flash up the studio again!

WIP Version..Yeah that's the stuff I was looking for.

Very smooth, I also love the three fast hits on the Bass drum ,gives it a great feel and propels the beat above the norm.

There are many great Muso's on this site from Ginger Daddy, Smillsoid to Quietman and lets not forget the very humble but brilliant Tubular Tos.

Your a very welcome addition to our fine group here .

There are a few here who take a little bit more time and care on the rhythm parts of their tracks than others..(Even Mike was guilty of this on a few tracks on Light and Shade).
Glad to see your one of the ones who does.

Thanks, feeling very welcome. I've been following Quietman, Smillsoid, Purple Rhapsody (Ginger Daddy I think), Tubular Tos and Bob the Screamer on Soundcloud. Love their stuff, I'm not at their standard yet but I can hope and practice.

Oh yeah, as far as soaring guitar goes, my other tracks "Tears in Rain" and "Childhood" both feature something along the lines of soaring... I hope.

Yeah, I like this. It genuinely is really chilld out. It's atmosphere is created by the melody probably more than the production which I think is important with so called "chill-out music". Most importantly though, as a listener I can tell that you, as a musician, are enjoying what you are doing.

I've extended Melting, it's now "hypnotically extended".

I took on board what people had been suggesting and I hope the final version lives up to it.

Thanks

Chris
