I love the way it starts - the harp sound is perfect; the natural sounds are a lovely introduction. The melody is plaintive with a touch of the folk tradition to give it roots. Now here's my question. When the harp has begun, the main theme is introduced, played by an organ-like instrument. I keep wondering what it would be like if that were a flute or whistle - a more airy, lighter, sweeter, breathier instrument. I suppose I'm imagining something closer to birdsong. Did you experiment with different instruments for that main theme? Have you thought of trying others? Back to top

Now I tried some other instruments but neither of them seemed to work, at least I don't have a decent flute sound for the task at the moment.
